…and didn’t get injured! It was a 12-min session from 90-ft with Yankees pitching guru Billy Connors supervising it. He may come back around the all-star break, or he might not come back at all, from Tommy John surgery.

In another update, the Yankees have signed 3B Morgan Ensberg to a minor-league contract. Ensberg had a very nice season in 2005 before injuring his right shoulder, and since hasn’t been the same. If he heals it, he very well may win the 1B job, or at least a share of that, if Shelley Duncan struggles. He could also win the 1B/3B backup position from Wilson Betemit.
